Last day 19.10.2018

We went to school at 8 o'clock. At school, we finished our video. We made the voice notes and used Kinemaster to prepare our project. As our video lasted just 2 minutes and 30 seconds, we had to enlarge it a bit because it needed to be 3 minutes long.
We also finish our blog!! We had a great time and felt pretty proud of our job.
This afternoon, our videos are going to be shown at the final party in front of all our teachers and families.
Our host families are going to bring some typical Spanish food so that everyone will enjoy the party.

Fourth day 18.10.2018

We worked on our time lines for the video and presented them. Then, we started to work on our video. There were a lot of ideas but finally we decided to search some photos on the Internet and play some music. We used KInemaster to make our video.
After schoo, we went home and had lunch with our host family.In the afternoon, we went bolling for one hour and we had a great time there.
Then, we went to a restaurant for the official dinner of the YEA! Project and ate a really big pizza.
After that, we went to the old town and walked for a while.
We went back home at 11.30.

Third day 17.10.2018

Granada trip.
On Wednesday, we were in Granada. The bus took us 2 hours but it wasn't boring because we sang loads of songs. We saw many interesting places, a beautiful big garden and a big palace called Alhambra. Ignacio, who is a Spanish teacher, guided us there.
We ate a good food in "Los 100 montaditos" with some of the Spanish students' friends.
We really liked Granada, it is an amazing place.

Second day 16.10.2018

On Tuesday, we started with the workshops and translated the old version of Romeo and Juliet into modern English. It was a bit complicated but we did a great job!
We also worked on the story line of our video. Our scene was divided into 3 parts and each of us presented one.
After that, we went on a city tour in Ubeda. We saw lots of cultural buildings and monuments such as the Salvador, Santa Maria or la Puerta de Granada.
In the afternoon, we played football during 2 hours and had great fun. Then, we had a kebab for dinner.
After that, we went to a big park and stayed there for a few hours. 

First day 15.10.2018

It was our first school day in Úbeda so some students of the Physical Education degree in Los Cerros High School organized an ice-breaking activity.
It consisted of introducing ourselves while we were playing with a parachute.
After that, we danced a Spanish famous song called "El Baile del Serrucho".

Then, Spanish students presented us their high school. We saw the café, some labs, the astronomical observatory, the sport courts and the schoolyard.

Once we had finished the tour, we made groups of 3 people each to learn how to use some online tools such as Gmail, Blogger or Meet. After the school we was at a restaurant and eat big baguettes. Then we went through Úbeda and went to some other shops.
